Mountain West Systems is a Western Colorado low-voltage company focused on networking, cameras, structured cabling, A/V, smart home integration, Starlink, and project-based technology installation for homes and businesses.
Who we are
A hands-on local company.
Mountain West Systems was founded by Conner Wagner, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran with a background in information technology and years of hands-on experience working with networks, cabling, cameras, and customer technology.
After working in the managed IT world, I saw a clear opportunity for a different kind of company: one focused on doing the physical installation work well, setting systems up properly, and then giving the customer or their IT provider full control.
How we work
Good work without creating dependency.
MWS was not built around keeping permanent access to customer systems, holding passwords, or turning every installation into an ongoing support contract. We believe customers should own the equipment they pay for, control their accounts, and understand what was installed before the project is handed off.
That does not mean disappearing after the job is done. If something related to our workmanship needs attention, we want to make it right. If a customer needs an upgrade, expansion, troubleshooting visit, or help navigating a manufacturer issue, we are happy to help when availability allows—and when another specialist is a better fit, we would rather make a trusted referral than pretend to be everything to everyone.

Homeowners often want a complete solution. MWS can plan, install, configure, commission, and explain the system before handing everything over. That may include Wi-Fi, cameras, internet wall jacks, point-to-point links to detached buildings, A/V, smart home controls, Starlink, and more.
Commercial & IT Partners
For businesses, builders, contractors, property managers, HOAs, IT providers, and MSPs, MWS is happy to stay focused on the physical infrastructure: cabling, jacks, patch panels, racks, camera wiring, AP locations, testing, labeling, and installation. Your IT team can manage the network while we make sure they have the infrastructure they need.

MWS wants to earn long-term relationships by being reliable, fair, easy to work with, and respectful of everyone else's role on a project. That means working comfortably alongside electricians, builders, general contractors, internal IT teams, and managed service providers instead of competing for work that belongs in someone else's lane.
Whether the job is a single internet wall jack in a home, a point-to-point connection to a detached shop, a camera system, an A/V project, or the structured cabling package for a larger commercial build, the standard is the same: clean work, clear communication, and a finished installation that makes sense to the customer.
